The unit consists of two single screw extruders or single screw and parallel twin screw extruders. In the industry, the O-shaped hollow structure has been changed to rice shaped, V-shaped, N-shaped, well shaped, etc., and finally changed to a well shaped structure. The cross shaped structure is accepted by the market in terms of material usage and structural performance. Its production products have a smooth surface, small dimensional errors, and many advantages such as being nailable, planable, corrosion-resistant, and flame retardant. Compared with traditional templates, building templates have the following characteristics:
1. Good water resistance. Even if completely immersed in water for several days, it will not deform due to moisture. Acid and alkali resistant, corrosion-resistant, and less prone to decay and rust, especially suitable for use in damp environments such as basement engineering, bridges and piers on highways and railways.
2. Not compatible with cement, sticky, easy to demould after construction, and will not deform due to cement adhesion.
3. The surface of the plastic template is smooth and smooth, without the need for applying release agents, reducing cleaning and maintenance costs. The surface of the building constructed with it is smooth and flat, without the need for secondary decoration
4. Lightweight, highly efficient in use, convenient for formwork support and removal, low labor intensity in handling operations, and high construction efficiency.
5. High support strength, not easily deformed, resistant to impact and wear.
6. Low cost. Long service life, with a turnover frequency of over 100 times. And the used waste boards and scraps can be recycled, saving costs and reducing pollution. The comprehensive usage cost can be saved by more than 30% compared to traditional wooden templates.
7. Long lifespan and frequent reuse. The ultimately damaged plastic template can still be crushed again and reprocessed into a new template, saving resources and meeting the requirements of "green industry".
8. Good insulation is beneficial for shortening the construction period.
9. Various treatments can be carried out by adding wood, and welding can also be carried out, so secondary processing can be flexibly carried out on the construction site.
10. Plastic templates have good processability and can be planed, sawn, nailed, and used together with wooden templates;
11. Saves processes and improves construction efficiency. The two surfaces (smooth or patterned) of PP hollow plastic building formwork have different usage effects. If a smooth surface is used after the concrete pouring is completed and the formwork is removed, the surface of the compacted body is flat and smooth, meeting the requirements of decorative and clean water, without the need for secondary plastering, saving materials and time, reducing cleaning and maintenance costs, and ensuring stable quality of the concrete after molding, saving construction time. If a patterned surface is used, it is beneficial to combine with the plaster layer. Especially for bridge piers, the use of patterned surfaces meets the requirements for decorative and clean water, and due to the special light diffuse reflection effect of the patterned surface, it avoids strong light reflection affecting the driver's line of sight, providing safety protection.
In short, plastic templates have the commonalities and more advantages over conventional building templates. Plastic formwork will become a product of replacing wood with plastic, steel with plastic, and bamboo with plastic in global construction in the 21st century.
